January 26, 2008, Milwaukee, WI – The 13th consecutive Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series awards banquet was held in the grand Ballroom of the Clarion Hotel, which is located across from Mitchell Field. The event marked largest Series banquet ever attended as over 260 attended the formal event to honor the 2007 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series Champion Tom Barnharst and the 2007 Midwest Enduro Small Car Series Champion Louis Chatroop. Many other awards were also distributed through the evening at this prestigious event.
In light of the evenings ceremonies, over $10,000 in prize money, awards and
contingencies were presented. All of the awards presented on stage were courtesy of Roz Auto Salvage of Milwaukee. Eagle Media of Muskego co sponsored the trophies that were presented to the top five in both divisions.
The top 20 drivers in the final 2007 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series point standings were recognized on stage. Additionally the top 15 drivers in the Midwest Enduro Small Car Series were recognized on stage. Special achievement awards were also presented during the ceremonies.
The 2007 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series title was the third career Series championship for Barnharst. A tenth place finish was his worst for the season with a win at Charter Raceway Park as his best. The win propelled him in to the top seed in the points with one event remaining, which he held on to take the coveted championship. Barnharst received a large trophy, cash prize and a championship jacket. A championship crew chief award was presented to Randy Romanowski and a championship chief scorer award was presented to Hanna Paskiewicz. Additional assistant crew awards were presented to Sara, Maggie and David Paskiewicz, Don Hanson, Scott Barnharst and Dave Balcerowski.

Along with Barnharst the top five included; Jay LeBrun (2nd), Tom Arnold (3rd), Darryl Traber (4th) and Erich Iversen (5th). Positions 6-20 were presented plaque and cash awards. Drivers must attend to receive prize money.
The 2007 Midwest Enduro Small Car Series champion was Louis Chatroop. An 8th place finish was the lowest finish of the season for Chatroop with an exciting win on the Milwaukee Mile oval as his best. Chatroop proved that he did not have the fastest car on the
track but the most consistent. Chatroop received championship prize money, championship jacket and large trophy for his accomplishments. The crew chief and chief scorer awards went to Matt Golin and Carol Chatroop respectively.

Along with Chatroop the top five included; Becky Pinkalla (2nd), Chris Hart (3rd), Tony Prietzel (4th) and Steven Mueller (5th). Positions 6-15 were presented plaque and cash awards. Drivers must attend to receive prize money.
Special achievement awards were presented to Al Kuphal, Russ Koralewski, Pete Aschenbrenner, Mike McKay, Scott Riemer, Gerry Galloway, Jay LeBrun, Roger Schultz, Dave Nowaczynski, Brent Lindberg, the Lunsford Racing Team and the Pinkalla Racing Team.

The Pinkalla Auto Solutions 2007 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series “rookie of the year” award was presented to Jill Balcerowski. Charlie Pinkalla of Pinkalla Auto Solutions presented a plaque award and $250 in prize money to Balcerowski for
her accomplishment. The Pinkalla Auto Solutions 2007 Midwest Enduro Small Car Series “rookie of the year” award was presented to Steven Mueller. Mueller was presented a plaque award and $150 for his accomplishment.
The B & T Auto Repair 2007 “most improved driver” award was presented to John Krolicki. Bob Nuti of B & T Auto Repair presented a plaque award and $250 in prize money to Krolicki for his achievement.
The T.A. Express Inc. 2007 “hard charger” award was presented to Julie Hayes. Tom Arnold of T.A. Express Inc. presented Hayes with a plaque award and $250 in prize money for her accomplishment.
The 7th annual Erich Iversen SR. “Good Buddy” award was presented to David Paskiewicz. Paskiewicz received a plaque award, mechanix gloves and $200 from Erich Iversen Jr.
Steve Just presented the fifth annual “woman of the year” award to Brenda DeYoung. Brenda is the wife of
Stock Car Series driver Tom DeYoung.
A special presentation was made to “Big Al”
Kuphal and Gerald Hayes. A photograph was taken by Series photographer Amanda LeBrun at the Milwaukee Mile of the two drivers shaking hands across the winner’s podium. They are still hoping for respective wins in their division even with combined ages of over 135 years old.
The traveling Klement’s Sausage ‘sportsmanship award” was presented to Scott Riemer for his efforts in 2007.
Riemer won a year’s supply of Klement’s Sausage for his accomplishment.
There were many door prizes given away during the evening’s festivities. Some of the door prize contributors included Dave Nowaczynski of Lamplight, Klement’s Sausage, Roz Auto Salvage, Old Wisconsin Sausage, Donnie Paskiewicz, Steve Just, Michelle Hocking, Don Wilson, Jim Plautz, Steve McBride and the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series.
