I also want to add that the second Lions club race is on Saturday July 11th at the Slinger Speedway. This is the second of four Lions Club events slated for 2009 which incude an event for our own enduro cars. This will be the "Stock Car" or V-8 division only. *** GRUNDY COUNTY SPEEDWAY DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SATURDAY JULY 4TH!

May 27, 2009 - Due to a time change in the display of fireworks in the city of Morris, the schedule of events for the 2009 Grundy County Fair has been changed including the "FAIRTIME 250" enduro that was to be held on Sunday July 5th. The race event will begin at 6:30 Saturday July 4th with a powder puff event followed by a 125 lap 4 & 6 cylinder event and conclude with the annual "FAIRTIME 250" enduro presented by Olson's Auto / Scrap Recycling.

Advance tickets are now available for the July 18th event at the Wilmot Raceway! There will be two big events planned for the evening totaling 300 laps of exciting racing on the1/3 mile clay oval.The first event will be the "95 WIIL ROCK 100" Small car and V-6 Series 100 lap enduro starting at 7:00. The "95 WIIL ROCK 200" main event for the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series will begin at 8:00. Contact the Series for advance ticket purchasing.

Don Lunsford holds the current Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series point lead over Erich Iversen jr. followed by Tom Barnharst and Mike Watson (tied for third) and Mike Herwald and Darryl Traber (tied for fifth).

Dan Chapman holds the current point lead in the Midwest Enduro Small Car Series over Jasper Drengler, Leo Bujak, Dylan Helfenstein and Jason Jarvis.

Joel Schumann is the current point leader in the Midwest Enduro V-6 Series over the team of Brad Nelson and Brad Bahr, Tim Goulet, defending champion Julie Hayes and Larry Nolte.
