Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series 2009 Awards Banquet Only One Week Away
Waterford, WI, January 21 – The 2009 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series awards banquet is set for January 30, 2010 at Classic Lanes in Menomonee Falls. In addition to the awards presentation, the 1st annual 9-pin tap bowling tournament will take place during the afternoon hours of the 24 lane bowling center. The day’s activities are presented by Eagle Media Inc., Roz Auto Salvage, Klement’s Sausage Co., Old Wisconsin Sausage Co., Carl Buddig Meats, 95 WIIL Rock and the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series.
There will be two squads of bowling, one at 1:00 and one at 3:45. Teams are limited to the first 48 entries received. Teams will consist of five bowlers, one who should be a driver, scorer, crew member, sponsor or official of the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series. If enduro participants cannot fill tournament, it will be open to any men or women participant. No junior league bowlers. Bowl three games with 9 pins down on your first ball to be considered a strike. Handicap is based on 80% of 210 average. 2008-2009 USBC highest average will be used. If no established average, men will use 160 and women will use 140 average. Casual clean attire is required (polo shirt for example) with special prizes to best dressed team(s). Entry fee is $150 per team; add $25 after January 15. Entry fee includes banquet ticket, prize fund and lineage and misc. fee’s. $500 for first place. Roll a 9-pin tap 300 game and receive $25. Roll a natural 300 game and receive $50.

You do not have to bowl to attend the banquet. Tickets are $15 or $20 at the door. Banquet ticket includes buffet style dinner featuring Klement’s products, door prizes throughout the day & complimentary beer & soda from 5 to 10 pm.
Drivers must attend awards presentation to receive prize money. A suitcoat with optional tie is mandated for recipients during awards presentation. The presentation will begin approximately at 7:00. Besides special awards to be presented, the top twenty in the final 2009 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series point standings, the top ten in the final 2009 Midwest Enduro Small Car Series point standings and the top three in the final 2009 Midwest Enduro V-6 Series point standings will receive prize money and award.
Brad Nelson was the 2009 Midwest Enduro V-6 Series champion. Nelson also captured the Series “rookie of the year” honors. Leo Bujak also was a first time champion in the Midwest Enduro Small Car Series. Dan Chapman was the Series “rookie of the year”. Darryl Traber won his fifth championship in the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series division. Mike Watson was the Series “rookie of the year”.
